Our team can compose music in virtually any style for your project. Dan Marschak‘s debut album Likewise features original compositions and arrangements in a variety of instrumentations and genres. He holds a master’s degree from UCLA in composition, and has written for ensembles which range from small chamber group to big band to full orchestra. Miles Senzaki is a versatile composer in his own right. His original score for Tad Nakamura’s award-winning documentary “Pilgrimage” received official selection in the Sundance Film Festival. The score also won him Best Composer for the 2008 Show Off Your Shorts film festival. As a team, Dan and Miles have proven that they compliment each others’ strengths wonderfully.
Working out of Miles’ brand new studio, Grandma’s Dojo in the heart of Los Angeles, Well Versed Productions is equipped to engineer, mix, master, and produce a professional score of any scope. The studio was custom designed from the ground up for the best acoustics. It features a modern digital audio workstation with Apogee converters and a full range of high-end microphones, boutique mic preamps, and vintage instruments including a beautiful Farrand upright piano. As working musicians, we have wonderful relationships with some of L.A.’s top studio musicians including strings, brass, and vocals. Our 300+ GB of high-quality sample libraries can also fill out any score to great effect.
